However, along with the beauty, comes the daunting task of the cleanup of the yard and gutters. We installed gutter protection on our home a few years ago and now I can really enjoy the beauty of the fall foilage without dreading what comes after!

Now is the time to get your home ready for winter. Whether it be Leaf Solution gutter protection or new windows and doors to keep out the winter cold, there is still time to get those project completed so you can enjoy a warm, toasty winter.

Happy Fall!

Welcome to our blog!
We would like to dedicate this first entry to our beloved founder, Don Weber, who passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2010, just one day before his son Jeff’s birthday.

When Don started the business in 1974 he was a custom homebuilder. The economic recession of the late 70’s resulted in a major decrease in new construction, much like we’ve experienced these past few years. Determined to find a way to survive, he began focusing on remodeling, which eventually led to specialization in wood window service and repair. He discovered a niche in the Louisville market that desperately needed to be filled and became known as “the” wood window expert. Our company rapidly grew through reputation, referrals from previous customers, lumberyards, and even window manufacturers who had been unable to find someone to perform service and repairs on their products. Many of the windows we repaired in the late 80’s are still holding strong today! As repair parts have become increasingly unavailable from the manufacturers, our focus has primarily been toward replacement and new construction products.

When Don was easing towards retirement in the late 80’s, we stepped in to take the reins. We have gone through many struggles in recent years, similar to those that Don experienced in the late 70’s. But we are determined to make it through, just like Don did – and hope to emerge stronger from the process.

Although Don had been retired these past few years, it was he who laid the foundation that defines us as a company and developed our reputation for honesty, integrity and above all, “doing things right” rather than taking shortcuts or cutting corners. We vow to continue to run our family business with these same values and pay honor to his memory in all that we do. He will be forever in our hearts and never far from our thoughts. We love and miss you Dad.

Jeff & Carole Weber
